One of the three Citadels built by [[The Prophet]] to help defend [[Alodia]] against the encroaching Wyld, The Plum Citadel sits in the heart of [[Soba]], forming its Palace, and acting as its centre of administrative Affairs.

It is said that The Prophet called upon the help of Anwe, and his army of a thousand Djinn, to build the Citadel, and the Citadel's Tower is still used to offer reverence to Anwe.

The Citadel is constructed from the mystical [[Porphyrs Stone]], its purple hue giving the Citadel its name.<br />
(Note: The Porphyrs has recently turned from purple to a brilliant golden yellow. Scholars are at a loss to explain how this happened, or what its significance is, but it is rumoured that it has become the centre of a large number of Essence flows).
