Combining Soba's high-yield, but notoriously hard to grow, Green Rice with the ubiquitous Alsine Reeds that will grow with almost no moisture, Ben Taka kari has used his Sorcerous powers to produce a new Hybrid.
Dubbed "Uncle Ben's Rice", in honour of its creator, this new breed grows in almost any environment, and is said to produce the highest yield of any rice in the Alodia region.
It tastes of chicken.
The superstitious amongst Soba have reported that left-over rice forms the face of Ben Taka kari, although more enlightened minds say this is just people seeing what they want to in the random patterns.
