Once a prosperous town to the south of Soba, and home to the Red Lotus Temple, Samsalar was wiped out by The Crimson Plague some years ago.
It is rumoured that Samsalar is now a Ghost Town, inhabited by the souls of the unburied dead, and most travellers avoid it.
The only feature of note near Samsalar is the Krefeld Pass, a treacherous route leading to Krefeld Keep.
