Sometimes, when a body is denied proper funeral arrangements, their Lower Soul will rebel, outraged at the lack of proper respect, and refuse to pass on.
These Hungry Ghosts stalk the World, looking to tear down any Life they find, in revenge for their ill-treatment.
For this reason, it is encouraged to ensure that proper funereal arrangements are made, and many Cultures have Death traditions based around this.
