Creatures of the Wyld.
While there is little constant in the Unformed Wyld, there are some effects that can be classified. Hobgoblins are one of the more common of these.
Appearing as approximately man-sized beasts, covered with a chitinous exoskeleton, these expressions of the Wyld are bestial and untamed.
Their iridescent hide shimmers in the torchlight of the caves and mines where they are normally encountered. Their tough mandibles chew through the most solid of rock, and their claw-like extremities rip granite like it was clay.
It is said that they can be appeased by the sound of music, and hill-folk near the Border-Marches hang wind-chimes to ward against them.
Small numbers are often just random bursts of Wyld, temporarily given form, but larger numbers have been known to serve under a Royal Fae.
