In some rare places, the Underworld seeks to leak into Creation.
By day, these places are almost indistinguishable from the rest of Creation (apart from a tendency of any populace to have a closer relationship with Death).
By night, The Underworld reigns, and ghosts appear. Structures and Denizens from The Underworld appear, overlaid on Creation, and often subsuming it with it's sickly palor.
