Though to have absconded to avoid his various gambling debts.
His name has surfaced in the Veiled Market of Champoor, where Tollen has talked of him.
It is rumoured that Sui Sian Shen has remarried (at least once) and fathered more children. He holds good credit at the Veiled Market, and is respected by many.
All if this is mere hearsay; no evidence has been produced to counter the idea that he is a no-good, two-bit, whoring, gambling wastrel.
