Erymanthoi

The Erymanthoi, or Blood Apes, are Demons of The First Circle, progeny of She Who Stands In Doorways.
Resembling large, hulking apes, with dull, ruddy fur and bone protrusions along their backs, they are the favoured Demon of Sorcerers across Creation. Easy to summon, loyal, and fierce in combat, these Monsters revel in fighting, and taking the blood of their foes.
Even when de-materialised (which they prefer not to be), they often leave a trace of their presence; the fetid smell of their blood-soaked bodies, an after-image of their passing, or plants wilting in their wake.
