Kessel

A mining town on the upstream border of The Serpent river, just below the Gorges of Shaitan. Its leadership claim a degree of autonomy from the rest of Alodia and maintain the traditions of the old Plenary Republic operating as a Stad. The level of education in Kessel is slightly higher than is normal in the region and this has made it difficult for the Satrap to replace the intransigent workers whilst keeping the same level of productivity.
