A strange purple material used to build the Plum Citadel and The Gates of Soba.
Stronger than granite, and almost impervious to erosion, correct usage of Porphyrs in construction imbues the resulting edifice with a level of sentience.
It is not known where the Soba Porphyrs was obtained, or if it was created in some manner.
