Session 14
We leave the site of the Sand Worm behind, and move on towards Kodor.
Before long, Tirigan notices a minor dust-storm on the horizon. Normally not much to bother about, this one seems to be keeping pace with us, shadowing our path.
The Tall Man slinks closer, but as he gets close, the corpse-construct rends the very fabric of creation with its claw and steps into the rent.
Appearing right beside The Tall Man, it rushes to attack, but Korvalis is too fast.
Again it rends the air, and appears closer to the rest of us, while an Air Elemental swoops from above.
FIGHT
The Tall Man manages to shoot down the Air Elemental, and Lady Khensa receives an unknown call the this fight should stop. We surround the corpse-being, "The killer of the dead", and begin to talk.
It call itself Princess, and is tasked by "mountain lady" (The Righteous Lady of The White Mountain) to find and destroy the "sun-stealers", for which it has mistaken Master Sui, drawn by his bonfire anima. We persuade Princess that we took no power that was not freely given, and ourselves seek the sun-stealers.
Princess seems to receive word from The Righteous Lady, and offers a deal. " A form for a Form - Master Sui must teach Princess Tiger Style".
We know that Princess is already well versed in the form, and agree to finish her training.
We move on, following Princess's lead, towards "the crack", which turns out to be a shadow-canyon, where an army of ghosts are pouring out of the Underworld, presumably to attack Kodor.
Princess wishes to go in, and attack, but this plan assumes our demise.
We convince her that we can do better, and keep her and us alive.
We move towards Kodor.
