Session 17
We have beaten up the Blood Apes, and the War Ghosts are retreating.
We head into the Last Tower and find a Demon, Fortune's Fool.
We chat a while.
He has been tasked with making sure this Tower does not fall just yet. It is needed for the "landing grounds" for the "reinforcements".
As we left, we saw a mysterious figure in the upper stories of the tower. possibly the "other combatant" that Tirigan thinks was there. Also possibly the figure from Tirigan's dreams.
The Tall Man talks to his Shadow Guild, and finds someone (a ghost) who is wanting to get onto the Ship. The Tall Man agrees to accompany him.
They go to a black market for seized grave goods, kill a couple of people from the ship, and take their places.
Once their, the other man, Feral Manservant, goes below decks to look for a book. The Tall Man tries to persuade the Monk that he is not really The Black Rose's daughter (for that is who he killed and replaced!), but a 'friend'.
Eventually, The Tall Man picks the lock on the cage and they leap off the ship (Monk Big Leap charm). He agrees to meet us all, away from the city, to decide what to do next.
