Session 25
The Tall Man and Ben do some scouting, and leave Ben in a position to support the upcoming attack.
Recon info: 3 large groups of Azure Beastmen. 1 Area of Clouds and Winds (some sort of Elemental presence?) 1 semi-ruined village, with well. This is where the supplies are held.
Korvalis sneaks around, and notices a Temple-like structure around the Well, with inward-facing Wardings.
We attack: Lady Khensa successfully leads her group towards the Well. Master Sui protects her flank. The Dragonbloods engage a group of beastmen. Korvalis give archery support to Khensa. A powerful (Essence 4!) Air Elemental moves forth from the Clouds, but Ben traps it in place with mighty Sorcery.
The Dragonbloods are being overwhelmed, and the Realm soldiers, meant to be supporting Khensa, turn back to help their fellows. Sui continues to keep his group between Khensa and the flanking beastmen. Ben calls upon the name of The Righteous Lady, The Septarch and Old Man River to re-shackle the Elemental.
By the time the flanking group has charged into, and through, Sui's group, Khensa has all but dealt with the beats defending the village, and turn to deal with the foes behind them. Sui's group is faltering, and rather than rally them, Sui lets them retreat, and faces the Beasts alone (with Princess). Ben calls upon SOL, The Unconquered Sun Himself, to finalise the Bindings.
Everyone else runs away.
We win.
