The new Soba Senate are sworn in, and Humble Stoat is Oathed to the prosperity of Soba and The Republic.
We then set off towards Kessel, to free it from the grasp of The Red Skull's forces.
Lady Khensa seems to have brought a lame camel, and falls behind. Master Sui will not wait for her, and pushes the pace.
Arriving in the vicinity of Kessel, we meet refugees headed the opposite direction. It appears that The Satrap has brought his Imperial forces here. We offer what assistance we can, and move on.
Lower Kessel appears to be in the grip of Imperial forces, with drafted militia. There is also some kind of Resistance organisation.
We decide to leave the politicking until later, and skip across the rooftops to the Town Hall. Leaping down, the initial guards are cleared, but a trio of Dragonbloods face us!
Master Sui charges in, taking on the heavily-armoured Cathak, but is flanked by the two others. Khensa lashes at one, while Ben tests his new Sorcery, (Brilliant Raptor) against the other. Ben's experiment yields useful results, and he makes a mental note about the blast-radius of the Raptor Burst, while Sui tries to douse the flames that lick around himself and Cathak. Korvalis has to dodge back from a hidden archer, who then sneaks away. Korvalis turns his attention to the Dragonbloods, and lends his arrows to the fight. Before long, Cathak is rendered prone, and the other two are dead. Also here is an old woman looking on with interest.
