Ben takes Dolman to Soba, where he receives the best medical care that The Crashing Fountain can provide. Then, Cynis Allegra Link titlesends some proper Healers. Ben heads back to meet the rest of the party.

Master Sui and The Tall Man have met up with Lady Khensa, and the refugees reach Toulan.

The boats and supplies from Soba arrive, and arrangements are made to ship the refugees and set them up in Soba. Khensa digs deep into her treasury to provide for them, and the Tall Man sends word for his men to go easy on these new arrivals.

An Administrator is set up with funds for the refugees, but also a Visionary is given some leeway to find creative routes. (Names for these would be nice, Nick! Or I might make some up. Do "Arwen" and "Delyth" sounds Baryan enough?)

Once the boats are safely on their way, and the party all together, we set off North to the Gorge. We arrive with a few days before The Septarch (Gem Lord) is due to collapse the pass.

Initial scouting shows a few hundred Beastmen guarding thousands of slaves, who have been pulled back from the pass. It seems our Deal has been foreseen.

Less expected is the Talon of Realm troopers across the chasm. Korvalis and Khensa investigate, and find two DragonBlooded Lords, resplendent in their Jade Battle-Gear leading them, with a local Scout (who we suspect has taken the Second Breath) who translates for them. We collaborate on a plan to attack the guards and free the slaves.

We then attack the guards and free the slaves. (A big fight, dealt with quite quickly)

With little in the way of provisions, we consider pushing further into Azure territory to raid their supplies ...
