Grass Spiders

A mercenary company based near Champoor.

While details are sketchy, it is thought the Grass Spiders number many hundred, including a goodly number of Exalts.

The Spiders have built up a reputation for dirty fighting, and use any means, fair or foul, to complete their tasks, which range from assassinations to besieging cities. Several battles have been won merely because it was heard that the Spiders were amongst the forces, and the opposition surrendered rather than face them.

It is known that the Spiders use exotic poisons, and this has led to rumours that they worship a Spider-Demon, but no-one has produced firm evidence of this.

It is said that Altan, The God Killer, works for the Grass Spiders, and that he plans to relocate Alodia's City of the Dead to Champoor.

Rumours of Grass Spiders launching assaults on Immaculate Temples in Alodia have been strenuously denied by those who would employ the Spiders, mainly as they fear recriminations from the Immaculates if found to be supporting their foes, and the proximity of the White Lotus Academy ensures a ready supply of zealous young Dragon-Bloods, eager to prove their worth, and gain glory!
